Week 8

    Since it was Spring Break for me, I got to sit around the house all week and relax. That left me some time to just turn off logic and let my brain wander as much as it wants to. One of my most recurring wanderings is dimensions. By that I mean the 2nd dimension, 4th dimension etc. That got me thinking about how Hung moves left to right then forward to backwards. This means it is 2 dimensional, where as in Sai Chen (I don't know what the proper spelling is) There is a flying kick which adds the 3rd dimension of up. This just brought me to the conclusion that most forms are "2 dimensional forms." Now that spring break is over, I actually have to think again.

Week 7

This week was quite uneventful until Friday when I went on the school ski trip to Marmot Basin, and it was extremely fun. Sure, I had to wake up at 3:30 in the morning but it was definitely worth it. We got at the hill at around 9:30 and spent from then until 3:30 skiing. I actually did a lot better than I thought I would. Sure, I only went on green runs but I only wiped out 5 times instead of the 10 -15 times that I thought that I was going to wipe out. It was also around 5 above on the hill so it was beautiful.The first I wiped out, I had my jacket and sweater undone and my gloves off, and I wasn't even cold, even though I was covered in snow. I did make a mistake though, I put my pass on my jacket instead of my pants so I was boiling through out the day. I mainly went up the Eagle Express Chair which is about half way up the mountain. I went down the exact same route every time except for the last run. My friend hurt his ankle on the run before that so we went on the easier route. The way I usually went was From Eagle express, down Sleepy Hollow, then down Old Road, then down School House. Then by the time I got back home it was a 20 hour day.

Week 6

I don't really have much to say so I am just going to talk about the main thing that happened this week. Here it goes.
This week I had a huge loss in my life when my grandfather passed away Tuesday night. It feels like it is going to take a long time for me to get over this. The only way I can explain how I feel right now is by comparing it to a house. All of the walls represent something: School, Kung Fu, Family, and Friends. Now take the family wall and take a chunk out of it. It is incomplete. That is how I feel. That's all I can really say.

Even though that happened, my numbers are still good.

Week 5

       This week life really just looked at my plans and threw them out the window. I say this because I got sick, which isn't too bad normally but this one was different. Instead of just getting a runny nose and a cough, I got what seemed like strep throat. I also found that the sickness didn't deplete my energy, but it just made it hurt to do anything my with my throat.(Swallow, Cough, Burp, Yawn) I don't know if that is what I got since I didn't get into the doctors. Any ways, I was planning to start helping out with the Tuesday classes this week. I had enough energy to do it, I just didn't want to get the kids sick. Thankfully, I am starting to feel a bit better but not much. I hope that my sickness goes away by this Tuesday so I can actually help out with the Tuesday classes.

Week 4

     This Saturday I started helped out with my first class. It was the Little Leopards and it was fun. I didn't do much for most of the class except hold a bag for them to kick and punch. That leaves me to wonder how the Tiny Tigers and Black Dragons will be. I feel like helping out with these classes will boost my confidence on doing things I haven't done before. I am excited to see what the future will bring for me. Also on Saturday, was the I Ho Chuan meeting. I am sad to hear that Pandemonium is no more, and that Tiger Challenge will be postponed until May 2020. I am excited for the breakathon since I have never done one of those before. I am also excited for the supposed Forms seminar that may happen this year.
