This week was quite uneventful until Friday when I went on the school ski trip to Marmot Basin, and it was extremely fun. Sure, I had to wake up at 3:30 in the morning but it was definitely worth it. We got at the hill at around 9:30 and spent from then until 3:30 skiing. I actually did a lot better than I thought I would. Sure, I only went on green runs but I only wiped out 5 times instead of the 10 -15 times that I thought that I was going to wipe out. It was also around 5 above on the hill so it was beautiful. The first I wiped out, I had my jacket and sweater undone and my gloves off, and I wasn't even cold, even though I was covered in snow. I did make a mistake though, I put my pass on my jacket instead of my pants so I was boiling through out the day. I mainly went up the Eagle Express Chair which is about half way up the mountain. I went down the exact same route every time except for the last run. My friend hurt his ankle on the run before that so we went on the easier route. The way I usually went was From Eagle express, down Sleepy Hollow, then down Old Road, then down School House. Then by the time I got back home it was a 20 hour day.
