This was like most weeks, wake up, go to school, go to Kung Fu, sleep, repeat. That's the pattern. It may seem like there is nothing wrong with it, but there is. If something changes, the whole pattern gets messed up. Lets say school gets cancelled for some reason. That means that over a quarter of that day has changed. Most people would have trouble getting back into their pattern after that, me included. A pattern may be good so you can just go into Autopilot for a bit and still get everything you need done. But if something else happens while you're in Autopilot, you just start to crash. That means that patterns are good but also bad at the same time. I find this happening the most during forms, since some forms share moves with each other. This mostly happens when doing Da mu sing( I think that's how you spell it.) I'll be about half way through and then out of nowhere I'm doing 18 Temple Motions. It gets frustrating sometimes, but you can't help it.

Week 15
This weeks post will just be a continuation of last weeks. My first one for this post is to finish the Lord of the Rings series of books. This is easier for me than ever since I read around an hour a day at school each day. My second one is being able to do 8 chin-ups by the end of the year. When I started, I could barely do one. With me being at Kung Fu 5 days a week, it leaves me a lot of time to get this one done. Right now, I can only do 4 at a time. My final one is to play less video games. This is something that everyone my age needs to do. I find that I am 50/50 when it comes to this one. Sometimes I look for other things to do, and sometimes it completely slips my mind and I go back to my old habits. Over this post and the last one, I have talked about my 6 personal requirements. Doing this has made me think, "I wonder what other people are doing." So, if you want to, right about your personal requirements so others can see what you're trying to accomplish.

Week 14
First thing I want to say is Happy Mothers Day! If you're a mother, grandmother, or aunt, it is your day to be you.
After reading what some of you said on my last post about narrowing down my focus and how I approach things, it got me thinking. For starters, I'm not really working on anything specific at the moment in Kung Fu, mostly because I like to not keep my mind on one thing at a time. The other thing is how I am approaching my personal requirements. My first one is become ambidextrous. Right now I am a right handed person. I have been kind of slacking off on this one lately but when I do attempt to use my left hand I find that it is very sloppy. The only time it wasn't sloppy was yesterday when I was using a saw. My second one is to learn Spanish. I am still trying to find a way to actually do this one, but I think I'll just start typing everyday phrases into google translate and practice it from there. My third and final one for this post is learning how to play the drums. I have been spending not a lot of time on drum set mostly because I don't have the right mind set at that time, or when I do have the right mind set, it is either on the road or at school. What I've learned from this post is that I need to stop slacking off on my personal requirements.

Week 13
This week is just like last week, I don't have anything to talk about that relates to Kung Fu. Also like I said last week, I feel like this will be an recurring problem this year. Can I fix this problem? I hope so. If I can, will I fix it? I'll do my best. Sorry for the short posts.
