As I finish my fourth year, and prepare to head back to work full time, I can now compare my weight to where I was last year. At this time last year, I was 295 pounds, so that is my baseline. Anything below that and it is an improvement and inching closer towards my goal of 250 pounds by Chinese New Year. As of the time I am writing this, I am 280 pounds. That is a great improvement, and a good sign for what's coming. I started focusing on my weight in late October last year, so I only had about 10 weeks to lose it before I went back to school. In that time I lost 20 pounds, going down to 275. This year I'm starting in the middle of August, and have until Late February. That gives me 25 weeks to lose 30 pounds, which means that I should be able to do it at a more manageable pace this time.
